When the Storm Came
An excerpt from Gupta's debut film, WHEN THE STORM CAME - a haunting tale of one village's survival of a harrowing mass rape in Kashmir - won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and was short-listed for the 2005 Academy Awards.

Dark Was the Night
Gupta directed and produced this  emotionally charged music video, weaving together a song written and performed by Emily Cavanagh together and the heart-wrenching story of a Rwandan refugee, Consolee Nishimwe.  


DARK WAS THE NIGHT was selected to screen at the UN for the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Rwandan Genocide.
Crossing Midnight
Gupta was the Editor/2nd DP for this short documentary about Burmese refugees living along the Thai/Burmese boarder who create an innovative solution to the medical situation plaguing their fellow refugees.


CROSSING MIDNIGHT screened internationally and was selected as part of a diplomatic tour by the UN.
